Now, to remind myself not to get too far ahead in my excitement, I've included a pic that I screencapped from NHL.com last year. It was at our height - the Leafs were at the top of league ... for like four whole games. Then the proverbial shit hit the fan but Optimus Reim came along to (almost) save us! It's totally unfair but any hope we have for making the playoffs rests on his shoulders. Unfair but true.
Anyways, below are two Optimus Reim videos. They're sure to pump up any Leafs fan but especially a certain Torontonian who is abroad without cable ;)
*So, I selected my first week's fantasy team and it's a bit of a shot in the dark. It's kinda hard to base it on last year's performance and I only got the chance to watch a single preseason game so I don't have anything to go on, really. This is my selection:

I LOVE THE VIDEOS. The first one I had already seen but the second one was a nice surprise. And as for my current cable predicament I am still working on it. I refuse to give up. No way I am going to go this season without watching the leafs. NO WAY!!!
